Ready for work!

My room is a huge mess and I apologize! But I had to get a few pics in since I usually dress really lazy for work and had decided to dress up.

Splurge Wishlist

I am the first person to admit that when it comes to buying apparel I head straight first to the sale section. Whether its shoes, clothes, or accessories, I am always looking for a bargain. That doesn't mean that I don't dream about splurging $200 on a pair of amazing shoes. However, being a college student and working a part-time job just doesn't cut it. Regardless of all that is stated, every girl should have a wishlist handy as inspiration and as a goal to work hard and save money for what they want. Listed below is my wishlist, the prices, and where you can find them. Au revoir!

Jeffrey Campbell Lita Stud $265

Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 $775

Betsey Johnson Lace Jacket $378

Dr. Martens 'Triumph 1914' Lace-Up Boot $160
nordstrom.com

Dr. Martens Women's Shoes, 1B60 20 Eye Zip Boots $150.00

So my wishlist consists of mostly shoes, so what? :)
I want to see your splurge wishlists! If you had all the money in the world, what kind of high end products would you buy?

Nails to Die For

I don't know about you guys but I am a sucker for an eye-catching and unique nail color/print. Nail designs have become such an affordable and artistic trend for fashionistas this year. Varying from bright nail polish hues to a handful of crazy prints. See what I did there? Nails have become a statement piece to an everyday outfit. Below I am going to list a couple of my absolute favorite nail polish colors and designs. Get inspired to create your very own fashion statement. Wardrobe Essentials for Spring 2011 (Areas with Warmer Weather)

HERE IS MY OWN PERSONAL LIST OF ESSENTIALS FOR SPRING 2011!
KEEP IN MIND I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA SO THIS WORKS
FOR PLACES WITH SUNNY SPRING WEATHER!

HIGH WAISTED DENIM/SHORTS
Definately a must! The high waisted look is coming back.
Style them with a funky graphic tee, some wedges and your favorite shades.

A-LINE SKIRT
Super cute for a laid-back, spring look! An a-line skirt creates a small waist and a tall figure. Pair with a simple button up and some sandals for a casual look.

CAPRI PANTS IN EARTHY TONES
One of the most popular looks coming back is the hippy-inspired
trend. Look trendy and down to earth with some olive or khaki capris. Pair it with a tucked-in ethnic top, a braided belt and a pair of peep toe heels for a funky look.

WEDGES!
Wedges are a must-have shoe for the spring. They can transform any outfit from a day time to a night time look. Look great with a floral dress and an oversized sun hat.

OVERSIZED SHADES
Protect your eyes while looking super fab this spring.
Relax by the pool with your shades, a tank, and some shorts.

OVERSIZED BAG
Inspired by the bohemian style, oversized bags are super trendy this spring.
Rock the look with a maxi dress and strappy sandals.

Yay! First Post!

Hey guys!! So i'm hoping most of you guys found my blog from my youtube videos. If not, well heeeeeello there! and thank you for finding me. So to start of my very first exciting post, I wanted to post something in tune with my just recently uploaded video, and show you guys some great items I bought over the weekend :) So here they are, enjoy!

FIRST ITEM; FAUX LEATHER KNEE HIGH BOOTS, MACY'S
$36
For starters, these boots are extremely comfortable! Although they have a heel I would totally rock these with dark skinny jeans and an oversized, off the shoulder white tee to school. Brand-Rampage.

FAUX FUR JACKET WITH ROSETTE PATTERN AND ORANGE/BROWN LINING. MACY'S $35
I've always wanted to buy a faux fur jacket but either I didn't have the guts or they were out of my price range. Macy's had a sale and I was able to snag a deal and buy it for only thirty-five dollars!! Woohoo!! I would love to wear this with a simple, little black dress, tights, and some tall boots. Brand-Dollhouse Outerwear

BELT HANGER ORGANIZER FROM CONTAINER STORE
$10
I bought this from the container store in downtown Pasadena but I'm pretty sure you can find it at other places that carry homegoods. I was trying to get rid of a huge drawer in my closet so I needed a place to keep my millions of belts. Although the hanger becomes a little heavy after hanging the belts, it keeps them organized and even the belts with the smaller buckles can fit!

SCARF ORGANIZER FROM THE CONTAINER STORE
$5 FOR A SET OF TWO
This one I haven't seen in other stores however it can also be used for belts so a belt organizer could work too! Scarves pile up since mine are so thick so it takes up quite some room in my closet but I still love it! The material on the hanger helps the scarves from slipping and (on the side thats showing) I can see all my scarves.

OLIVE CAPRI PANTS FROM FOREVER 21
$22
I haven't worn these yet but I'm so excited to wear them! They come with a brown braided belt and they come in three colors. Olive, black, and khaki. They are comfortable and have a looser fit. I would pair this with a tucked in floral shirt and some wedges on a nice spring day!

TEA TREE BAR OF SOAP AND MINI LOOFAH FROM THE SOAP KITCHEN
$9 in Total
So when I bought the soap it said on the label that it was for blemishes and oily skin. I've used it only twice so far and I do have to say my skin feels very smooth and I've noticed my blemishes are starting to dry up and my skin isn't as oily. I do have to use it a couple more times until I know for sure whether I approve but so far its great.

ULTA KIT FROM ULTA STORE
PROMOTION WAS IF I SPENT $17.50 OR MORE IN ULTA COSMETICS I RECEIVED A FREE GIFT!
The gift includes all that is shown minus the cream eye pencil and the lip crayon. I also bought an eyebrow gel which isn't displayed in the picture. I absolutely love the eyebrow gel, it keeps those caterpillars in place! I chose the set called "Out of the Blue" and my favorite items are the lipstick  (Parisian Pout) and the eyeshadow pallettes.

EYESHADOW PALLETTES THAT COME IN THE SET!

ADDED NOTE; All items were purchased by me with my very own money. None of the companies mentioned are paying me to talk about their products. All opinions are my own.
